Thaddeus - strong in mind, body, and spirit

Help us welcome Thaddeus to the fold!  Quiet but mighty, the man with the braid in his hair… don’t cut it off for it’s said he might lose his strength!  Wait, no.  That’s a bible story from my youth.  My bad.

Thaddeus comes to us from Wake Forest with a degree in Biological Anthropology and Archaeology (say that 3 times fast) and he aspires to get a PhD in a bunch of other big words: Plio-Pleistocene post-cranial Hominin evolution.  Which in layman’s terms, thank you very much for the translation, is “the evolution of the human body.”  How freakin’ cool is THAT?  He’s not only into the human body in an academic setting, but also first-hand with a personal story: an overweight childhood, weight loss in college, muscle mass re-development, and healthy training & maintenance.  Through his education, life experiences, and passion for encouraging a positive self-image, he wants to help you be the best you can be.  Sounds like we could all learn more than a thing or two from this guy!

As he warms up to our sarcasm and good-natured ribbing, it becomes clear to our team that Thaddeus can hold his own, on every level.  His self-control and measured comments are a strength own their own, but his power within is matched at the gym as well.  His favorite exercise is “pushing obscene weights across the room on the sled.”  Um, yeah.  So I’m stayin’ out of his way.  And if it were healthy, he’d eat sushi every day for refueling.  In his down time his favorite books include The Iliad, Icelandic stories, Njál's Saga and Egil's Saga.  (Can’t even say those names.  He must go to a different library than me.)  And my favorite nugget of info is hidden talent.  “I can play the didgeridoo-the indigenous Australian wind instrument. Have yet to find a use for it yet.”  Yeah.  We’ll keep you posted on that one, Thaddeus.  You will be the first to know when we get a client asking for that.

We are so happy to have Thaddeus as part of our team.  Come learn from this guy!  He will help you dig up some places you never knew existed.
