Right there, on the tip of my tongue. It’s true. Some blogs are easier to write than others. This one I don’t have to noodle at all.

We have something important we want to taco ‘bout with you. We think you’re pretty special. This thanksgiving and always, FBD is grateful for you.

You would think that a fitness center wouldn’t dwell on Thanksgiving. We wouldn’t want to linger on this day. After all, it’s a day that all about eating. Well, FBD is nacho typical workout facility. We donut shame you for enjoying that pumpkin pie today. Or enjoying the dressing. And slathering on the gravy. Seriously! Because each of us on staff is doing the very same thing. Let me tell you why are going to spend a little time today thinking about why this day is something to relish at FBD.

You. You bring personality into the building.

Purpose. It’s not about just getting in a good sweat. It’s about giving & getting what you need.

Inspiration. Each day someone else brings it, but it’s always there.

Authenticity. Some days our bodies cooperate. Some days they don’t.

Strength. Both physical and emotional. Exercising together allows us to share and develop these things together.

Laughter. That often-forgotten source of energy that can help you get through the day or the workout.

Comradery. Misery loves company, or something like that. ;)

Intention. Living with it and making it part of your day – just like you do when you come to see us.

I could go on and on, but you’ve got a turkey to cook and eat.

THIS is why we exercise. This is why we take care of ourselves - so we can surround ourselves, and be, and play with people that are important in our lives. Today and always, we celerybrate you. Becouscous you’re what makes FBD a great place to be.
